From next week Claude's web, desktop and mobile apps run in auto mode by default on Pro, Max and Team. No approving every single step anymore. An automated check blocks the risky actions and you can switch back to manual anytime.

Honestly the approval pop ups were the thing that annoyed me most there. After the tenth one nobody reads them anyway, you just click yes.

Still, if a session touches something that really matters, live data or files you can't get back, I would switch it to manual for that one.
