If you sell across EU borders - the rules now are 10x easier than ever before. What does it mean for smal lbusinesses?

Under the EU's SME VAT scheme, a small business can now stay VAT-exempt in other member states - not just its home country - as long as total EU-wide turnover stays under €100,000, with a single quarterly report instead of registering country by country. The broader "VAT in the Digital Age" reforms are extending this one-portal approach further through 2026.

Thank you EU!
