I used to think confident people just feel ready before they start. Like they wake up one day and know exactly what to do 😃
They don't. Nobody does.
Think about the first time you drove a car on your own. Or the first day in a new job. Were you ready? Not really. You did it anyway, a bit scared, and after a week it was just normal.
Confidence doesn't come first. It comes after. You get it for doing the thing, you don't need it to start.
But we keep waiting for it. One more course, one more video, one more "let me think about it over the weekend". And then the weekend is gone and nothing changed.
So if you are waiting to feel ready before you start that project, call that person or finally put your work out there - you will be waiting a long time.
Start scared. Ready comes later.
Good weekend all!
