So I talked to another Shopify store owner and I found that not only me are facing the same issues that are something that either needs a developer to fix or move to a better platform what already looks like a pattern we lived in (Wordpress -> Shopify).
Lately everything hanging off the store. Apps you installed two years ago and forgot to cancel. Checkout adding friction nobody tested in months. Little things, each one small, all adding up.
Two things worth taking from this if you run a Shopify store as well.
One. Audit your app list today, not this quarter. Open your Shopify admin, look at every app charging you monthly, and ask if you've opened it in the last 30 days. Most stores are paying for five apps to get value from two.
Two. Whatever calculates your price, custom sizing, shipping, anything with a formula, go test it yourself right now as a customer would. Actually place a fake order. I've seen too many stores lose money for months on a pricing bug nobody caught because nobody actually tried to buy from their own store.
