A traditional made-to-measure curtain order runs through five hands before a fabric is cut. The shopper contacts the shop. Someone books a home visit. A measurer arrives with a tape, a clipboard, and a fabric book. Measurements are written down, re-entered into a spreadsheet, and priced by hand from a supplier catalogue. A quote is sent by email or WhatsApp. If the customer accepts, a workshop-ready order is produced by someone re-typing the same numbers a third time. Any transcription error in that chain costs fabric.
The Curtain and Blind Calculator collapses steps two through five into a single live interaction on the product page. The shopper selects window width, drop, fabric, heading style, and lining. The app computes fabric usage, applies the merchant's pricing table, and returns a price the moment the last field is filled. The order that arrives in the merchant's dashboard contains the same fields that would otherwise sit on a clipboard.
The app does not replace the workshop. It replaces the paper trail between the customer and the workshop. When the retailer wants to verify a challenging window, the shop can still send a measurer. When the retailer wants to keep an in-house consultant on the phone, that flow works too. The Curtain and Blind Calculator is the automation layer for orders that do not need a house call.
Pricing tables are uploaded by the merchant as CSV, Excel, or JSON. That decision keeps the app usable across a wide spread of pricing structures: pricing by fabric width band, pricing by fabric drop band, per-linear-metre pricing, or piecework pricing for specific brand ranges. The merchant retains full control over the numbers and can adjust seasonally.
Metric and imperial units are both first-class. Storefront language covers English, French, Lithuanian, and Danish. Merchants in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, and South Africa run the same app on their storefronts.
The Shopify app is the storefront layer. When a store also runs a physical showroom or a workshop team, the InterioApp platform picks up the order and routes it through in-house quoting, calendar, and inventory. The two products are designed as a pair: the Shopify calculator collects the order online, InterioApp runs the retail operation behind it.
The listing is at apps.shopify.com/plugincc-app. A 7-day free trial covers the setup period, during which the publisher offers a one-on-one call to walk merchants through pricing-table configuration.

Made-to-measure retailers with international shoppers meet the same problem: half of their customers measure in centimetres, and half in inches. Building two storefronts is one way to handle it. Building a calculator that accepts both is the other. The Curtain and Blind…
