Yesterday, I was journaling my own trades using Tradez Log, and suddenly the application stopped working.
At first, I thought it was an internet issue. But all other websites and applications were working fine.
Then I thought, "Are the servers working?"
I opened AWS, logged in, and saw a pop up saying that my AWS account had been deactivated due to an unpaid bill.
I checked the billing section, and the bill was around $89.
Honestly, it made me feel bad. I launched Tradez Log three months ago, and I'm still the only user of my own trading journal application. Yet, I still have to pay around $89 to keep the server running.
I was disappointed for a while, but then I realized something:
It's only been three months since I started Tradez Log, and I already have a user.
Yes, that user is me.
Good things take time. Every product has to start somewhere, and this is just the beginning.
That thought motivated me to pay the bill and keep Tradez Log running.
One user today doesn't mean one user forever.
