In June a Gary Vee video about posting 400+ times a week changed how I think about social media.
Now Pinterest is telling brands to send people "back into their life".
Their own numbers: 40% of Gen Z say they wish social media had never been invented. Searches for "dumb phone" on Pinterest up 150% in a year.
A social app asking everyone to scroll less. OMG.
I don't think both ideas cancel out. Post a lot, fine. But the post that counts is the one where people close the app and actually go do something.
So guys, when did a post last make you put the phone down?
