Cheers Guys! @immerzyve made it to the Top 10 of the competition.

I've only won a competition once in my life. That was 14 years ago. That too was in Music. Did i ever mention that i play hobby guitar? I also composed a song back then for a short film that my friend made. Funny part was that it never released. 😂

Things were different in the early 2010s. Facebook was thriving & i didn't hold myself as much as i do now. I would post some cool pictures of me often and would frequently refresh the page to see how many likes i got. It's funny as i write this of how far we've come but the attention to likes hasn't really gone away. @publish fundamentally changed that for me. I didn't know anyone besides Darius which i guess was helpful in hindsight. I wrote with no expectations. I wrote with all my heart. I never expected to have 30 followers or close to a thousand reads. It was you all who made it possible. Thank you.

Coming back to present, i applied to JCI's Creative Young Entrepreneur program about 6 weeks ago. A person i met an event suggested i do that. I had no clue how many applied but all i knew was JCI was a very big organization. I did not expect to qualify but Hey, thats how life works i guess. Here i am, my virtual pitch is this Saturday, August 8th. I get just 5 mins to pitch & then results will be out on the 12th. Top 5 will go to pitch in Montreal in September at a huge JCI conference.

I stand ready for this. Wish me luck. Will keep you posted.
