Curtain and Blind Calculator: a Shopify app for made-to-measure quoting

Curtain and Blind Calculator is a Shopify app that turns any product page into a made-to-measure quoting engine for curtains, Roman blinds, and roller blinds. It is one product within the InterioApp portfolio, published by Curtains Calculator UAB in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

Overview

The app embeds a live calculator on a Shopify product page. A shopper enters window width, drop, fabric selection, heading style and lining. The app computes fabric usage against pricing tables the merchant controls and returns a price without a callback, sample kit, or in-home measurement visit. Orders that reach the merchant's dashboard already carry every measurement, every option, and every fabric choice, ready to be routed to the workshop.

Origin

The calculator was originally built in 2015 for the founders' own curtain showroom in Lithuania. It helped the shop reach its first million euros in sales, and fabric vendors who saw it in action started asking for it for their other clients. The team spent the following years turning a house-built tool into a product for the trade. In February 2020 the company raised 50 000 EUR in a public angel round, covered by 15min and 70v. In 2022 it was profiled by BZN START. On 27 February 2023 the calculator was published on the Shopify App Store as a standalone product; that same year the parent company rebranded from Curtains Calculator to InterioApp, with the rebrand carried by DELFI.

Where it fits in the product line

The Shopify app is the storefront layer. The full InterioApp platform adds in-house quoting, orders, workshop scheduling, calendar, and inventory for retailers who also run a showroom or workshop team. A sibling Shopify app, WallpaperCalc, extends the same approach to wallpaper retailers. The three products share the same pricing-table architecture and the same publisher.

Pricing

Sold on a Shopify subscription: 99 USD per month, or 999 USD per year (a 16% saving on the annual plan). Every install starts with a 7-day free trial. Billed by Shopify in USD.

Reception

The Shopify App Store listing carries a 5.0 rating. An early customer, ADmaja užuolaidų ir interjero salonas in Lithuania, wrote: "It's a solution that I was looking for a long time. Had some questions in the beginning with all set up, but Curtains Calculator team helped with everything, so now we are ready for new orders for bespoke curtains from our website." Another review, from a CTO of a using store, noted the team was "very nice and supportive" during setup.
