You sell made-to-measure online by putting your real pricing rules on the web page. The customer enters width and drop, picks fabric, heading and fitting, and sees the actual price before checkout. They either pay there, or they leave their details on a form having already priced the job. Both outcomes are sales. InterioApp does this with a Shopify calculator plugin on the shop front and a quoting system in the showroom, both running from one product library.
Walk into a made-to-measure showroom anywhere in the UK and the quote works. Tape measure, fabric book, supplier price list, twenty minutes, a number the customer trusts because a person stood behind it.
Now open the same retailer's website. Gallery, "enquire", no price. The customer who was ready to buy at eleven at night has nothing to do except close the tab and ask someone else.
That gap between what you know at the counter and what your website is allowed to say is the entire problem we build against. It is not a design problem. It is a pricing-logic problem, and it is why a normal e-commerce agency cannot fix it. Almost nothing you sell is a fixed SKU. Every order is a size, a fabric, a heading, a fitting and a lead time.
The quoting system is the engine. Fabric widths, pattern repeats, headings, linings, poles, tracks, motors, workroom rules and supplier price lists are configured once. After that your staff choose a product, enter dimensions, and the price comes back in seconds, along with a branded PDF quote, a work order for the workroom and an order record that tracks through to installation.
It is a full platform rather than a calculator: CRM, quoting, email templates, calendar, inventory and e-commerce in one system, with permission levels so showroom staff quote and managers approve.
As of August 2026 the in-house software is £99 per seat per month, published at interioapp.com/pricing. Adding a second branch is free. You pay for seats, not for locations, and the second showroom shares the first showroom's product library.
There are three, all listed at interioapp.com/apps, and which one you want depends on what you sell and how far along you are.
Curtain and Blind Calculator is the full plugin. Bespoke curtains and blinds, dynamic pricing on user-selected products, responsive on every device, current Shopify themes. £79 per month, or £799 a year. It is free with a full InterioApp setup on an annual subscription.
WallpaperCalc handles wallpaper and wall panels: per roll and per unit calculations, centimetres or inches, wall dimension calculator, live pricing. There is a free plan, Pro is £39 a month and Custom is £159.
If you already run a Shopify store, the plugin goes onto it. You do not need to rebuild.
If you would rather we build the whole thing, there are three store packages. All three include the build, the product library setup and the training, which is the part that actually takes the time. Configuring a real curtain and blind range with correct pricing rules is the work; the storefront is the easy half.
Store Launch, £10,000. A working made-to-measure store with your products priced properly.
Omnichannel, £19,500. The one most retailers choose. Two languages, all plugins with no extra plugin or setup fees, one in-house software account included with no separate setup fee, and PUBlish AI visibility in English.
Market Leader, £35,000. For retailers who intend to own their category rather than compete inside it.
The software is built and owned in house rather than licensed in, which is why we can change it when a client's workroom does something unusual. Most of them do.
This is the part retailers underestimate, so it is worth saying plainly: an online store for made-to-measure has two jobs, and only one of them ends in a checkout.
The first job is direct selling. Customer measures, configures, sees the honest price, pays, and the order lands in the same system the showroom uses. No re-keying, no second price list, no "let me check with the workroom".
The second job is lead capture. Plenty of customers will configure a bay window at half past ten at night, see that it comes to £1,400, and then want a human. That is a good outcome, not a lost one. The calculator has already done the hard work. It has told the customer what the real price is, and it has told you that this person is serious, what they are measuring and what they are choosing. A short form catches them at that exact moment and hands your team a warm, pre-qualified enquiry instead of "hi, how much are blinds?".
Understanding the real price and catching the lead are the same motion. One builds the trust, the other converts it.
A growing share of buyers no longer start with ten blue links. They ask an assistant who to use for made-to-measure blinds in their town, and they act on the answer. You cannot buy your way into that answer. It is drawn from what has actually been published about you, where, and under whose name.
This is why InterioApp is an official partner of PUBlish. PUBlish is a publishing platform where verified authors publish substantive pages that Google indexes and AI assistants cite, with the canonical URL pointing back to your own domain, so your site keeps the credit.
For InterioApp customers that means a verified PUBlish profile created for your business during any setup, a professional article written and published about your company free with an annual subscription and full setup or with any online store package, and 50 percent off further articles. Published articles also get featured on the InterioApp blog. Our own page sits at pub-lish.com/en/company/interioapp.
A beautiful store no assistant ever mentions is an expensive brochure.
One product library, one set of prices and one set of rules serving both counters: the one in your showroom and the one on your website.
The showroom sells with a person. The store sells with a price. Both should be quoting from the same truth, and both should be findable by the customer who is looking for you right now, wherever they happen to be looking. That is what we mean by an ecosystem for made-to-measure retailers, and it is why the software, the Shopify plugins and the stores are one product rather than three.
The demo is free, takes 30 minutes, and there is no obligation. Fill in the form at interioapp.com/booking with what you sell and what you are trying to fix, and we will show you the system running on a business like yours. If you would rather watch first, the recorded walkthrough is at interioapp.com/watch-demo.
If your website still cannot tell a UK customer what anything costs, that is the conversation worth having.
