I was having a conversation yesterday with a startup founder building AI receptionists for Independent Consultants. Specifically Legal Consultants. There is a lot of back & forth involved from the first touch point onwards between the client & the consultant. There are a bunch of individual tools that solve for this right now. But thats where the gap was. They were individual & didn't integrate with each other well, making lives difficult. That's exactly what he was solving for. At least, thats the opportunity i saw.
It wasn't the first time i was speaking with him though. But this time, i decided to hold the frame. He's tried a few ways to position this so far. He tried them through & through but nothing concrete really caught the hook. I could see the way he positioned the idea wasn't naturally fitting. It was like pushing a square block in a round hole. You could force yourself in, but that takes a lot of energy. Energy that us, early stage entrepreneurs cannot afford. After listening to what he had to say, i launched my barrage of questions at him.
Questioning to me is the origin of everything. The WHY? WHAT? & HOW? is what makes my life exciting. If i ask myself the right questions, then a great answer follows through life experiences over the days to come. Else, it becomes extremely struggling. The questions are simple. The way you ask them holds the secret. I'm talking like an expert here but i self realized this just recently, probably in the last six months. But since then, everything changed. My depth in thinking got a few levels deeper where my responses have started to attract attention. They weren't opinions anymore but answers that could shift the pace of doing things.
That exactly was happening on the call yesterday. I didn't try giving answers to a problem i didn't know myself. I wasn't in a hurry either. But the only thing i knew was the evidence of lack of clarity. It got exposed after the series of questions i had for him. I knew this feeling because i was going through it myself with @immerzyve. I decided to get myself into an industry where i have no expertise in. Not a remote clue about the people or their problems. But this wasn't going to stop me. I was doing business for more than 8 years now. I knew something. And that was HUMANS.
That was enough to get my foot in the door & continue to survive before we thrive. I was trying to share the same knowledge with this founder. But through questions. The conversation didn't end on an exciting note of clarity as i would prefer. But seems like it made him think. And the result?
He decided to write about me on his website. A small part of virtual real estate dedicated to me. Well, this didn't happen to me before. I didn't know how to process it. But knowing what @publish taught me about how AI engines work, i couldn't say NO. The founder is Tanmay & his startup is CroozLink.

I thank him for doing this. I thank you for reading this so far. I continue to write about my life. I hope you feel this was value of your time. I wish your contributions in life have much better rewards that make you happier than you are.

365 days between two proposals.
My first client paid me $12,000 for a 3 month project in 2018. Just a year later, the same client paid $86,000 for the next one. I still remember to this day when i sent that project proposal in 2019, just a year after we started out our App Development company. I was 26 years…
History of Curtains that surprised me.
Apparently, in Mesopotamia, animal hides were used to create partitions within a home. In Egypt, woven reeds & papyrus mats were used to protect from desert heat & sand. Chinese had their own similar solutions. Based on my learnings, the criteria of choice was to pick a…
