A made to order sale is only half done when the payment comes in: the sizes and choices typed on the product page still have to reach the person who cuts, sews or prints. In the UK, goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised are not covered by the usual 14-day right to cancel, which spares you change-of-mind returns but puts the weight on making every order right first time.
With Inchy, open the order in Shopify, choose Print and pick "Inchy production sheet". For several orders, tick them in the order list, choose Print and pick the same sheet, and each order prints on its own page. The sheet shows every size, every choice, the logo files, the add-ons and the customer's note, with boxes to tick for Materials ready, Made, Checked and Packed. For the day's work across all open orders, print the daily work list: every piece still to make on one page, oldest order first.

Shopify's own Print window on order #1002, with the Inchy production sheet picked.
The order page is built for taking payment and shipping. It lists what was bought, and the customer's choices sit under each line as small text. That works for a mug. It does not work for a 420 cm awning with a navy stripe cover, a white frame, a motor and a wavy valance, or for 23 shirts in four sizes with a logo file.
The workshop needs the job laid out the way it is made: the size first, every choice in a table, the logo you can open, the add-ons that go in the same box, and somewhere to tick off each stage. Copying all that by hand from the order screen is where mistakes creep in.
Shopify lets apps add their own documents to the Print action, both on a single order and on a selection in the order list. Inchy uses that. Tick the orders in the list, choose Print, pick "Inchy production sheet", and every order comes out on its own page. The preview below shows three orders: two awnings and a team shirt order.

The order number, date and value, and how many pieces there are to make.
The customer's name and delivery address, and their note in a box at the top.
For each item: every choice in a table, the size or the count per size with a box to tick, and the logo file with a link to open it.
Add-ons under "Goes with it", for example a matching tote bag × 23 or LED arm lights × 1.
Four boxes to tick as the work moves on: Materials ready, Made, Checked and Packed, plus lines for notes.

The sheet above is a team order: 23 navy shirts with "Riverside FC" under the logo, printed front and back, the logo centred on the upper chest at 9 cm wide. The live demo shows a printed sheet for a team order of 23 shirts, and how to take a team t-shirt order in every size explains how that order is placed.
A production sheet is per order. The daily work list is per day: one printed page with every piece still to make across your open orders, oldest order first. Each line shows the order, its stage, the quantity, what to make and what goes with it. A team order reads on one line, "23 in total: S × 4, M × 9, L × 7, XL × 3", instead of 23 separate lines.

An awning line reads the way a fitter would want it: "Width 420 cm · Projection 300 cm · Cover Navy stripe · Frame White · Opening Motor and remote · Valance Wavy", with "LED arm lights × 1, Winter cover × 1" beside it. How those sizes are priced is in how to sell made to measure awnings on Shopify.
Inchy uses three stages: To make, In production and Ready to send. Sent comes from Shopify's own fulfilment, so you fulfil orders the way you do now. You move an order along from its page in Shopify or from Inchy, and a panel on Shopify's order page sums up what to make, the stage and a link to the production sheet.
The Orders page in Inchy shows how many pieces are waiting, which order has waited longest and your made to order sales over the last 30 days. In the screenshot below there are 2 orders to make with 25 pieces waiting, 1 in production that has waited 4 days, and 1 ready to send.

How can a Shopify store take a team t-shirt order in every size in one go?
A rugby union team can name 15 players and up to eight replacements, a squad of 23, and every one of them needs a shirt in their own size. On a standard Shopify product page each size is a separate variant, so the person ordering picks a size, sets a quantity, adds it to the…
How do I sell made to measure awnings on Shopify and charge the exact price for each size?
Shopify lets one product carry up to 2,048 variants and three options, and that is where a made to measure awning shop gets stuck. An awning sold in 1 cm steps from 200 to 600 cm wide and 150 to 350 cm projection has 80,601 possible sizes before anyone chooses a cover or a motor…
