One thing I’m learning about marketing: Are we already too late to go online?
With so many online stores, creators, brands, and people selling on social media, it’s easy to think:
"Everyone is already doing it. Maybe I’m too late."
But I don’t think we are.
The internet isn’t getting smaller ,it’s getting noisier.
There will always be new products, new customers, new platforms, and new opportunities.
For example, I’m building a store where I plan to resell products from Amazon, while also using social media to market them.
And the biggest lesson for me is this:
You don’t need to be the first. You need to be useful and consistent.
Posting a product and saying “Buy this” probably isn’t enough anymore.
Instead, show people why they need it.
Show how it works.
Show the problem it solves.
Compare it with alternatives.
Create content that people actually want to watch - even if they never buy.
That’s the difference between selling online and marketing online.
So, are we too late?
No.
But I think the era of simply putting products online and waiting for customers is over.
Now, you have to earn attention first.
And that’s exactly what I’m going to learn by doing. 🚀
One thing to learn today:
Don’t ask, “Am I too late?”
Ask, “What can I do better or differently than the people already doing it?”
