Some rooms look beautiful. Others actually feel like something.

I think furniture has a lot to do with that.

A table is not just a table. A chair is not simply somewhere to sit. The materials, proportions, texture, craftsmanship and even small details can completely change how a space feels.

This is something I write about here on PUB-lish. Furniture with the idea that it should do more than simply fill an empty space. It should give that space personality.

And I think this is especially important for interior designers and retailers.

Sometimes one carefully chosen piece can do more for an interior than ten pieces bought simply because they fit.
