There is a meeting most product analytics people know. Someone asks what revenue was last week, and the room comes up with two numbers and a long pause.
Now add AI assistants to that. Querio, a London startup that launched today with a $5M raise, describes the scenario almost too well: sales renames a field in the CRM, the revenue dashboard breaks, a Slack bot reports zero deals closed last week, and Claude gives you a third figure.
Their fix is an agent that spots the change, repairs whatever depends on it, and sends the data team one update to approve. BMW i Ventures and Haatch are among the investors. Tech.eu has the launch story if you want the details.
I can't judge a product from a launch article. But the line from the CEO, Rami Abi Habib, that stayed with me is about ownership. For thirty years, he says, analytics tools kept a company's logic inside the vendor's product. Querio wants the data team to own it, and every AI tool to answer from it.
That is the right fight. The hard part of metrics was never the chart. It's agreeing what "active user" or "revenue" means, writing it down once, and not letting every new tool invent its own version.
Put AI on top of messy definitions and you don't get insight. You get wrong answers with more confidence.
