OK so a month after Dreamforce I keep coming back to one thing, and it is not Claudeforce. It is Hunter.
Hunter is Salesforce's outbound agent. The idea is that it chases a goal over days and weeks, not one email and done. It is in pilot now, general availability is planned for November. MindBlaze wrote a good summary for sales leaders if you missed the keynote: https://mindblaze.ai/blog/dreamforce-2026-for-sales-leaders/
Part of me says wow. Follow ups are exactly the place where most reps give up. Second email, third email, nobody does them properly.
The other part of me is a bit scared. Decision makers already get 100+ sales emails a week. If every company gets an agent that never gets tired, inboxes will be full of very polite, very patient robots. And buyers will learn to ignore them in 0.3 seconds, same like they did with "Hey {{first_name}}".
So my bet is this. The agent will not be the advantage, everybody will have one. The advantage will be the same as before: who you write to, and why now. Signal first, volume second.
Curious to see it live in November. But I am not firing my SDR brain yet 😄
